Ceders-Sinai Medical Center has again let the nation as the #1 heart transplant center for the last 10 years. The team lead by co-directors Drs. Jon Kobashigawa and Fardad Esmailian have exceeded all expectations to achieve exceptional patient outcomes. Duke University has moved up two spots to be #3 in the nation. University of California San Diego has climbed the list 3 positions and is #5 by completing 63 heart transplants. The UCSD team is led by heart transplant directors, Drs. Victor Petorius and Eric Adler.  Joining the Top 10 list are  St Vincent’s Hospital and Heart Center in Indianapolis and Baylor University / Scott & White Health  have increased their numbers to become top 10 performers.
